Lecture #22:
Exercise, well-being and success
by Darcy A. Santor
Everyone knows that exercise is good for your health. But what’s better? Spin class, cross-fit, intense cardio or just walking? Aside from the health benefits, how important is exercise for your learning? Is spending hours a week exercise really worth it?
In this lecture, you will learn about the benefits of exercise and how to make exercise part of even the busiest of schedules. You will learn about the benefits of regularly walking, whether it is to and from school or work or payoff that comes with taking 30 minutes out of your busy, busy day.
The widespread uptake of wearable tracking devices has allowed researchers to gain new insights into how we move and how moving improves our well-being and sleep, as well as our success at school, productivity at work, and the quality of our relationships.
In this lecture, we will also show you how to make exercise part of your daily routine.
